Daniel Johnson III

Daniel Johnson III, CFP®
Senior Financial Advisor

Daniel began working for Parsec in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of North Carolina Asheville, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from East Carolina University. He is also a Certified Financial PlannerTM practitioner. Prior to joining Parsec, Daniel held many different roles at a state-wide credit union here in NC. He is a member of the National Association of Professional Financial Advisors, where he is currently the Committee Chair for the NAPFA Genesis committee. In addition, he is also a member of the Financial Planning Association. Daniel is actively involved in the Winston-Salem community and currently serves on the Board of Members at the William G. White Jr. YMCA. Additionally, he is a member of the Rotary Club of Winston-Salem. At Parsec, Daniel specializes in working with individuals and families that work in the Medical/Dental field, own closely held businesses, or have significant real estate exposure. He enjoys working through complex estate and tax planning issues with clients, finding the optimal long-term solution. Daniel is married to Sarah, and they have 3 boys, all two years apart.

Judd joined Parsec in 2018. He relocated with his family to join our Winston-Salem team. He holds a Bachelor Degree from the University of Delaware and a Master of Business Administration degree from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. Judd is a Certified Financial PlannerTM practitioner. He began his career in wealth management with a top 100 accounting firm serving clients throughout Central Pennsylvania. Prior to financial services, Judd had a 10 year career in the nonprofit sector, holding leadership positions with youth services and animal welfare organizations. Judd lives in Winston-Salem with his wife and their young son, and he enjoys running, golfing and doing anything outdoors in his spare time.

Prior to joining Parsec in 2017, Chuck was owner of Mimosa Investment Management for twenty years. He previously was a director at Cornercap Investment Counsel. Chuck graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and masters degree in business administration.

He worked for eight years in retirement planning with AON Consulting, before beginning his career in investments. He spent another eight years with Cornercap Investment Counsel in Winston-Salem, prior to starting Mimosa Investment Management with Bob in the spring of 1997. Chuck and his wife have two boys who recently graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill. Chuck enjoys playing golf, fitness workouts, and walks with his dog.

Judi joined Parsec in 2017 as a part of the acquisition of Mimosa Investment Management, where she worked as client service for 15 years. She is currently studying to earn her Financial Paraplanner Qualified ProfessionalTM designation. Her career in the financial service industry began at Barnett Bank in Jacksonville in 1997 and after 5 years there she joined Mimosa Investment Management. A native of Jacksonville, FL, she has successfully raised two wonderful children. In her free time, she enjoys the many activities available in the Triad, as well as spending time with family, friends, and the grand-dogs.
