Parsec Director of Business Retirement Services Neal Nolan Receives Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) Designation

Parsec Financial is proud to announce that Asheville-based Director of Business Retirement Services Neal Nolan has received his Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor certification.

The CPFA credential was developed by retirement plan experts whose candidates complete focused education in ERISA rules and regulations centered on:

  • Fiduciary Roles and Responsibilities
  • Fiduciary Oversight
  • Plan Investment Management
  • Plan Management

The program, sponsored by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), a member organization of the American Retirement Association (ARA), prepares candidates for a proficiency examination on retirement planning concepts, terminology, and features of qualified plans as well as plan administration, compliance, investment, fiduciary and ethics issues.

“The CPFA helps to both demonstrate my commitment to high service standards to our clients and prospects, as well as deepen conversations about best practices and fiduciary duties to the plan and its participants,” Nolan said.

Nolan is the first person at Parsec to receive this designation. Learn about all 17 credentials that Parsec employees hold at
