Founded in 1980 by Bart Boyer in Asheville, North Carolina, Bart always had a belief that fee-only investment advice was the right model for the firm. Delivering unbiased advice allows our interests to be in-line with our clients’ interests.

In 1987, Parsec opened its first office on Wall Street in downtown Asheville.

Parsec expanded to the Charlotte Metro area in 1999. We are located on the 18th floor of the Carillon Building on West Trade Street in downtown Charlotte.
