Michael Baughman is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner and a NAPFA-registered financial advisor. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Presbyterian College. He is passionate about listening and helping others design and achieve their ideal life. Prior to joining Parsec in 2016 by way of an acquisition of Millard & Company, Michael served as a financial planner for Millard & Company and Abacus Planning Group, a private banking manager with BB&T, and sales and client service positions with SEI Investments. Michael currently serves on the Board of Trustees of St. Luke’s Hospital and on the finance and investment committee of the Tryon Fine Arts Center. He previously served on the boards of the Tryon Downtown Development Association (TDDA) and Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry, and was the scholarship chair of the Rotary Club of Tryon Foundation. Michael lives in downtown Tryon with his wife and three children. When he isn’t at work, he loves spending time with his family outdoors, cycling, hiking and playing music. He also enjoys working on his small but growing homestead and all that small town life has to offer.
